Is the free plan really free?
Yes — 100 requests/day, all 43 zones, all currencies. No credit card required. The free plan stays free forever. Upgrade for full historical data and higher limits.
What happens if I exceed my limit?
You'll receive a 429 response with a retry_after field. Both daily and monthly limits are enforced — daily resets at midnight UTC. No surprise charges, ever.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes, when paid tiers launch you'll be able to switch plans instantly. Changes take effect immediately.
Do you offer annual billing?
Annual billing with a discount is planned for paid tiers. During beta, everything is free.
Why is history limited on Free?
Free gives you current + last month — enough to build and test. Developer unlocks the full archive back to 2015 for backtesting, ML, and analytics.
What counts as a request?
Every API call counts as one request, including MCP tool calls. Responses served from cache still count.
